Another brand focused Alex Edit featuring my top 5 recommendations from Kiehl’s. Kiehl’s is a brand I’ve loved for years, especially their Dermatologist Solutions range – watch this space as I’m trying some new product that I can’t wait to share with you here once it launches! This Kiehl’s Edit takes you through some of my staple favourites and, if you’re new to the brand, what I’d recommend trying first if you’re not sure where to start.

My Top Kiehl’s Picks
Creme de Corps* is such a classic and one of the products I always think of when it comes to Kiehls. It is the most rich and comforting body lotion out there with avocado oil, shea butter and my favourite squalane. Texture-wise it’s more of a creamy lotion yet it’s deeply nourishing, non-sticky and sinks into the skin quickly so you can get dressed. I love that it doesn’t have a strong fragrance – it’s so subtle that it doesn’t interfere with my fragrance of choice so I can reach for this morning or night.
I adore this as a one-step skincare meets makeup product. The Glow Formula Skin Hydrator* is skincare with a tint – a tinted moisturiser plus! The hydrating formula contains illuminating minerals and antioxidant pomegranate extract to give the skin an all over healthy glow. If you’re not wanting to wear a lot of makeup this is the perfect choice for effortless fresh, glowy skin.
The Ultra Facial Cream* is the classic, cult moisturiser – a staple for any skincare shelf. Great for even sensitive skins – with no overpowering fragrance, packed with hydrating ingredients from Glacial Glycoprotein to squalane and with a lightweight texture. This is a moisturiser that really works to hydrate the skin and layers well with whatever other products you have in your routine – including actives. It’s a good choice for simple but effective hydration. If you do have oilier skin, they do have an oil-free version as well.
This one I’ve mentioned in my Hydration Heroes edit. The Avocado Hydration Mask* is phenomenal! Yes, it does make you look a little like Shrek when you put it on (it’s bright green!) but it’s this deeply nourishing, calming and soothing mask with a light and fresh avo scent. The texture is super creamy – it actually feels like applying mashed ripe avocado to the skin. What I love most is that it doesn’t just feel good whilst the mask is on. It has a lasting effect – skin feels conditioned, soft and overall re-hydrated. If you’re struggling with dry or dehydrated skin at the moment, I’d recommend this gentle and nourishing mask.
Who doesn’t love a good, staple and reliable lip balm? I love the Buttermask For Lips* – I’ve been through two pots already! It’s super nourishing but not at all sticky or heavy on the lips. A lot of lip balms I’ve tried can be really heavy (especially overnight treatments) and actually dry out your lips but Buttermask feels like heaven. It’s so conditioning like a restorative treatment. I often wear it during the day too for a subtle sheen on the lips.
