I’m so excited to be finally sharing the new launches in my Alex Steinherr x Primark collection. Coincidentally, they’re the perfect products for skin right now. The kind of products that we want to be reaching for to care for the skin challenges we’re facing due to wearing face coverings. My range with Primark already covered a lot of bases but there were some products that both myself and you all felt were missing/requested so I’m so thrilled to be launching these! Check out my Instagram Story highlights where I demo all of the products in a Sunday Facial and on Primark’s IGTV.
Makeup Remover Pads (Pack of 2 for £1.50)
I’ve been wanting to bring these out for awhile as I’m always looking for ways to not use so many disposable ones. These makeup remover pads are so big, soft and fluffy. Dampen them and use it to remove your makeup. They’re machine and hand washable for up to 100 uses each.
Konjac Sponges Pink Clay or Green Tea (£1.50 Each)
I adore these ingredient infused Konjac Sponges. You dampen them with water to soften and can use them to cleanse with a cleanser or on their own. They also exfoliate gently and refresh the skin. Because the sponge is a natural root it’s also gentle around the eyes.
Pink Clay is purifying and soothing. If you have skin that’s easily inflamed and irritated, dry, sensitive or mature then this is ideal. Green tea is energising and refreshing so recommended for oily, blemish-prone skin. Each one lasts for one month.
Maximum Moisture Milky Softening Lotion (£5.00)
Honestly, this was a dream product and something I really wanted in my routine. It’s a hydrating, barrier boosting , soothing milky lotion that you can use in many ways. The main ingredients are a gentle form of lactic acid to brighten, soothing centella asiatica and peptides to support the skin. For me, it’s that all in one product that offers deep replenishment without being heavy.
You can use it on a cotton pad and smooth onto the skin or pat it onto the skin with your hands like an essence. It works as a toner for a morning cleanse or as an essence post-cleansing. The whole point is to promote healthy skin! Great for dry, dehydrated, mature and sensitised skin as well as oily/combo skin if you struggle with other heavy products.
Pore Balance Anti-Breakout Jelly Potion (£5.00)
I’ve been asked about this the most. This product was created down to requests from you all. Its aim is to help with excess oiliness and blemishes. It’s got salicylic acid, mediterrenean algae and raspberry leaf extract to purify, mattify and keep the skin clear. Super light in texture and feels like a serum but it’s to be applied specifically to target areas where you are prone to breakouts as a leave on treatment.
Plump & Glow Anti-Fatigue Wakeup Eye Roller (£5.00)
I’ve been addicted to this! It’s so practical as a tube with a built-in roller that feels cooling and soothing on the skin. It’s got hyaluronic acid and an anti-fatigue complex. I wanted to offer a lightweight, depuffing eye product for the day to refresh the skin.
Rose Quartz Facial Stone Roller (£7.00)
I love facial massage in general and since lockdown I’ve really been getting into using massage tools. made out of the same material as fancier ones. It’s been a much appreciated self-care moment to be able to do my own facial massage at home. Made out of the same material as the fancier ones you’ve probably seen, this stone roller is such an easy way to incorporate massage into your routine. It’s very gentle, helps with lymphatic drainage, helps penetration of products, increases blood flow and reduces puffiness.
